Kittery to Old Orchard Beach: sandy beaches, tidal rivers and marshes. Tides here range 8 to 10 feet.
What's biting now (Fall): Last striped bass and mackerel before they leave the coast.
Commonly caught in this area: Striped bass, mackerel and bluefish in summer.
Also caught here: mackerel, pollock, Atlantic cod.
Tidal rivers and creek mouths are best when the tide is moving and draining bait out of the marsh. Fish points, bends and oyster bars on the falling tide.
