By using fishcastnow.com you agree to these terms. FishCast Now is operated by Axiella Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 16859263).
Forecasts are estimates
Bite outlooks, best times, tide predictions and weather forecasts are provided for general information only. They are estimates based on third-party data and our own calculations, and they can be wrong. Tide predictions are not suitable for navigation.
Your safety is your responsibility
Always check current weather, water and local conditions before you go, wear a life jacket where appropriate, and leave the water if you hear thunder. Never rely on this site for safety decisions.
Rules and licenses
You are responsible for following all fishing laws, license requirements, seasons, size and bag limits. We link to official sources but they are the final word.
Data sources
We use public data from NOAA, the National Weather Service, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, MET Norway and OpenStreetMap contributors. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by these organizations.
Use of the site
You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please do not scrape or copy the site in bulk, or use it in a way that harms the service.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Local business listings and sponsors
Local fishing businesses can apply for a free listing on spot pages near them; we check every business before it goes live and may refuse or remove a listing that is inaccurate, misleading or not a genuine fishing business. Approved businesses can become Founding Sponsors for $9 a month or $90 a year (US dollars, billed by Stripe on behalf of Axiella Ltd, trading as FishCast Now). The founding price stays the same for as long as the subscription continues. Sponsors can cancel any time from the link in their email; the sponsorship stays up until the end of the period already paid for, and we do not refund part periods. Sponsored placements and links are labelled as sponsored. A sponsorship buys visibility on FishCast Now - it is not an endorsement, and it does not change our forecasts or ratings. We may remove a sponsor that breaks these terms and refund the unused part of the period.
Changes and contact
